Dr. Shahram Tafazoli
President and CEO

Dr. Shahram Tafazoli founded Motion Metrics after completing his thesis in the area of Robotics and Intelligent Systems at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Dr. Tafazoli is an avid inventor holding several patents, an adjunct professor with the UBC Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), an angel investor in several promising Canadian technology startups, and an associate member of the Creative Destruction Lab at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Ajay Agrawal
Business Advisor

Dr. Ajay Agrawal brings a wealth of knowledge about strategy planning, commercialization, and business development to his role as business advisor to Motion Metrics. He is the Peter Munk Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Dr. Agrawal is a founder of both the University of Toronto’s Creative Destruction Lab and Next 36.
